GUYS, GUYS, PLEASE READ THIS BOOK. It's atmospheric, the plot is driving, characters are compelling, and I generally liked the writing, even if at times it was a little iffy and dragging, but never did it make me want to put the book away for another time. I know some people do not feel this book is either up to par with their expectations, falls short on the plot twists and action sequences, etc. but I really, thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had a splash of psychics, a heavy heaping of Communist threats and intrigue, and writing that was easy to follow and delve into, especially with the narrator's particular point of view. Though there were some flaws, I thought it was a very well rounded and interesting read. Review to come!
