Okay, I'm keeping this simple, so here we go: MY HEART IS MILDLY BROKEN AND YOU NEED TO GO READ THIS NOW, OKAY? So, this book picks up a few months after the last one ended, and moves on with a vengeance. If you look back at my previous review for Throne of Glass, all the praise for the writing and imagination of Ms. Maas carries to the sequel and exceeds it by far. This book is balanced, beautiful, and near-perfect, and I don't care what anyone else says, it was AMAZING and I don't think I can even put many of my thoughts into words at this point, so just go read it for yourself and find out!
